I need to find, just those one things! I started writing, but needed some simple ways to search without going through common words. Words like book, set, series, side stories . . . if those words are in the book, it adds and adds to the search results, not to mention the length was ridiculous. So, I created a personalized system for searching my creations, to minimize wasted time in funding and identifying size, type of story, and more.
Why am I making this? Because it might show up in my unedited writings, and from POV to WC, or Bk1:Pt3 and Sydz vs Vignz, you could easily be confused by the intentional typos and unknown letters. In real books, they would be edited out, and never seen, but I have too much content to make sure none of these ever slip out, so they are here for clarification, just in case. 😉

Original word: “personal label”, my definition (notes/ optional)
Thousand: “K”, a traditional shortening for money and other large numbers.
Example: “ex/” or “eg.” Such as to demonstrate a detail more vividly, such as comparisons using comparisons for your understanding pleasure. (Eg. Is the Latin version, ex/ is something I picked up when making notes in the side of books during a religious class, and I have no idea how common it is. . . . —Random english note: Difference between Simile “like a ___” and Metaphor “It is a/ They are a ___”.)

Point of View: “POV” or “P.O.V.”, is the perspective of who is speaking. First person example is ‘I am/ was chasing the culprit!’. Second person ex/, ‘You chased the perp!’. Third person eg., ‘He chased the vermin!’
Main Character: “MC”, obviously who the story is about, often from their perspective. Ex/ as ‘I walked down to the sunset colored beach, the breeze from the approaching night raised goosebumps on my arms, and then I felt the prick of a tiny seashell sticking out of the sand . . . ‘ if the person focused on is portrayed with first person and it was evening at the meeting of ocean and sand.

Book(-s): “Bk” or “Bkz”, large contents of text, beyond 15,000 words. (Aim is 80-120K for my genres, but after my main writing system started glitching on the app, I cut it down to under 50 K.
Side Stories: “Sydz” or “Syd”, when looking from an alternative perspective, to fill out the world and complexity of characters, multiple side perspectives compiled together like a series of vignettes. (Singular is “Syd”, since ‘Y’ can sometimes sound like an ‘I’, rather than rhyming with did as if called sid, it rhymes with ‘ride’, ‘tide’, & ‘tye-dyed’. A Syd story can often grow into it’s own story, or while in a developed fantasy world become much bigger as a Book, until it feels more like the main story than my original character’s perspective. Sydz form richer details of the world, from motivation to lifestyle in my books universes, I try to create richer stories by having multiple interesting people involved but they may or may not be interested in the main character.)
Part: “Pt”, portions of the same story. (Ex/ Pt 3 of 4. Bk 2: Pt 2. Syd 3 Pt 4)

Short Stories: “Shortz”, Short Stories, which are more than a few paragraphs, but not long enough to be a book.
Vignettes: “Vignz”, short enough that from a few paragraphs to just a scene glimpsed. (like a cut out from a much larger story, it’s almost more of an idea than a real story with plot. But, there is still a subject, an I, you, or he/ she/ it, as a type of noun, which the text centers around. They ate the text version of quick messages, sort of like a quick ticktock, snap chat, or meme, just a tiny piece of information. Mine could often be considered my version of a writing prompt.
World Creation: “WC”, World building that is not specific to the main character. (Mine are often related to things like the rules of magick, political situation such as laws and culture, important people that have never interacted directly nor been discussed as they affect the story or world and people with business or schemes, list of connected friends or progress of skills as they go, unexpected things coming unrelated to progress or goals, such as disease spreading in the neighboring town, affecting travel when expecting customers travelling in, but unless driving there and requested to go around, might not understand anything occurred.

To be written: “2BW”, scenes or sections that feel there needs to be more, or that have been skipped as needed for what inspiration is felt while in the flow.
