What is the different Writing Styles?
Planner: Outlines, charts, character facts, or scene scripts planned from beginning to end, before creating the written works with actual words to paper.
Pantser: No plan, just write, going by feel. Messy and possibly unexpected.

Every story here is written by a pantser. That’s my style. If I see WAAAY into the future, writing down the ‘spoilers’, it’s not as interesting, fun, or intriguing, as I want to skip to that next important piece, and it turns to crap by forcing jumps into the future like that. Of course, the next piece of writing is either ‘go back and add in something interesting’ or ‘what comes next?’.

P.S. There is no ‘correct way’ to write. Planners can optimize however they want. Muses can be found from anything, but at the end of the day, writing the words and enjoying the process is why I write, and trying to copy and paste someone else’s happiness, passion, or successful process onto yourself . . . might have different results than intended.

World Building

Ideas generated by my brain, not AI suggestions. Possibly, it is accompanied by short attempts to delve into a story within the set up, but usually it begins as a list and grows as it goes along.
Patience needed for the really choppy bits.

From background histories to attitude and intentions, there might be scenes, as if plucked form a story, or a big ‘info dump’, not connected to anything written.

Books while walking or pushing off sleep, TV shows and movies with friends and family, or reading comic strips (manga), entertainment is filling the majority of my life, either what I create or what is available to penny pinchers.

I love creative ideas, but despise cliff hangers (apologies for incomplete stories, but as a Pantser, if I don’t know where the story is going, I can’t seem to finish by force). While enjoying science, but annoyed at the illogical so struggle to accept most ‘futuristic’ or ‘genius’ stories that don’t prove half as accurate as current common knowledge.

I love writing with a passion. but editing seems to have slowed down the road to publishing, because perfection is a lie we tell ourselves, forever delaying or justifying not taking the next step. So, this is mine: sharing regardless of ‘readiness’. Ha ha!
After more than a decade of writing a few thousand or hundred thousand words every few months, I found creating stories to by my most creative outlet, and I enjoy reading them myself, so hope you can enjoy them with me.
